Jon's waterskiing page

I am by no means a professional at this sport, but it is the only sport I am any good at, so I have to make the most of it. If you want to find more information about waterskiing and related sports, Yahoo has a nice collection of waterskiing links.

These are some pictures of a waterski outing I did in August 1997, on the Fox River near St. Charles, Illinois.

One of the things that I like best about skiing on the river is the beautiful scenery. This is a heavily wooded area so both banks of the river are thick with lush green plants and trees.

The water was fairly calm that day, and the temperature was very comfortable, in the upper 70's.

I love kicking up a nice tall rooster tail of spray when slaloming.
